About these terms

Creath is operated by CreathLabs, No 13, Adesegun Okunuga Street, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, Nigeria. These terms apply alongside our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

Your account

You must be at least 18 to create an account. Keep your details accurate and your password private — you're responsible for activity on your account.

We may suspend or close accounts used for fraud, to list work that isn't the seller's own, or otherwise in breach of these terms.

Wallets

Artwork certificates are delivered to a blockchain wallet. If you don't connect your own, we create and manage one for you.

Artists are paid into a wallet they control. To protect artists' earnings, changing a payout wallet once it's set requires a request reviewed by our team.

Blockchain transactions are permanent: once a transfer is confirmed it cannot be reversed by Creath or anyone else.

Buying artwork

Prices are shown in US dollars. You can pay with USDC, or by card or bank transfer through GlobalPay, charged in Nigerian naira at the exchange rate shown at checkout.

When you start checkout, the artwork is reserved for you for 30 minutes. A purchase is complete once your payment is confirmed and the artwork's certificate has been transferred to your wallet.

If an artwork sells to someone else before your payment is confirmed, you'll be refunded for it. Other refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

Delivery of physical works

Physical originals ship from Lagos to the delivery address you give us, usually chosen before you pay. Please make sure it's complete and correct — we can't be responsible for delays or losses caused by an inaccurate address.

Our team will confirm delivery timing, and any shipping cost, with you before your artwork is sent. Once it has shipped, the address can only be changed by contacting sales@creath.io. Digital collectibles are delivered to your wallet only.

What you own

Buying an artwork gives you ownership of that piece and its certificate. Unless the artist agrees otherwise in writing, the artist keeps the copyright, so owning a work does not by itself give you the right to reproduce it or use it commercially.

Selling on Creath

Artists must own, or have the right to sell, everything they list. By listing, you allow Creath to display and promote your work on the marketplace and in our channels.

Every artwork is reviewed before it's listed, and we may decline or remove listings at our discretion. A work can be bought only once you've added a payout wallet. Creath keeps a platform fee from each sale, as agreed with you when you join; the rest is paid to your wallet.

Acceptable use

Don't use Creath to commit fraud, list stolen or infringing work, manipulate prices, harass others, or interfere with the marketplace's security — including attempting to access accounts, data or systems that aren't yours.

Liability

We work hard to keep Creath available and accurate, but the service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, Creath is not liable for indirect losses, for changes in the value of artworks or digital assets, or for events outside our reasonable control, such as blockchain network or payment-provider outages. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that the law does not allow us to exclude.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll change the date at the top of this page, and tell you directly about significant changes. Continuing to use Creath after a change means you accept the updated terms.
